EPCF will create opportunities for the views of parents and carers (including young carers) to be heard and we will be organising meetings, focus groups and other opportunities to meet with key representatives of Ealing Council, local NHS services and voluntary organisations. The ultimate aim is for us to create an ongoing workgroup of parents and carers of children, young people and adults with additional needs in Ealing to help develop the new Carers Strategy and then continue to monitor its impact on our families’ lives. As a first step, the Family Information Service and the Older Adults Commissioner of Adult Social Care would like to hear the views of both adult and young Carers as well as Parent Carers and have created an initial survey (**) https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Ealing_Carers_Survey to find out what is important to Carers now and how you think Ealing can improve the support available. This initial survey will remain open until Friday 9th June 2023 which marks the end of the National Carers Week.
