I joined the governing body of St Anns because I have a strong interest in supporting and learning more about the education and development of children with special educational needs. As a newly qualified teacher, I am eager to expand my knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of how schools operate, especially in areas related to SEN provisions. Being part of the governing body allows me to contribute to the school’s development while learning more about decision-making processes that directly impact student outcomes, staff support, and the overall growth of the school which is upon us. This experience will not only enrich my teaching practice but also help me play a more active role in shaping an inclusive and effective learning environment.
